Honestly, I'm not doing too badly, you're right. I'll be doing even better when I start up homebrewing though! In my particular case, it's not really a case of the grass being greener, but that my tastes have changed over the years and decades. Before we moved here from Oregon years ago, I'd never have imagined that living in Franconia would see me develop a taste for British real ale, to be sure.
