You think that you've got problems, trying living in the Irish Republic! Having just reached the age of seniority (unfortunately), I was rewarded with a travel pass that allows self and spouse to travel free on any buses or trains in Ireland. Sounds great? Well, the nearest train is 40 kms away and the nearest bus about 10 kms - and that's a twice daily service!
