Only spent a day in Sheffield (last year) and it was pretty impressive from a beer standpoint. We didn't even manage to hit all the places on the tram line, let alone those away from the tram. I guess the mood was set for me when the first place we stopped at was on the ground floor of a University Residence (i.e. dorm, in American). If my Residence Hall (I went to university in Canada so it was called that) had such a pub I'd still be in school!
