I agree. Stopped by Windischeschenbach last month while returning to Frankfurt from Prague and visited the Wolframstuben, plus the commercial Wuerth brewery (enjoyed the beers, but the brauereigastaette is not so nice). Reading your posting, I wish I had stopped at the Kommunbrauerei since I saw someone brewing there and the whole setup looked like something from the past. And the beer is even cheaper than in Franken!
