Yes, the roof does look as if some work had been done on it. As for the walls, no work had been started up to last Tuesday. They definitely need a little bit of work but, hopefuly, not to change the character of the place. I met Robert Sperber several times (every time Beim Bineer was open during the weekend - one of the best Zoigl stube and good zoigl) - a really nice guy who was desperate to chat. Sadly, my German was not really up to a long and detailed conversation.
