| The DVD is in PAL format, not NTSC, so unless you (in North America) have a DVD player that can play PAL discs, you'll have to do some tinkering in order to watch it on tv. A computer's DVD ROM should have no trouble with the disc, of course, so anyone in North America should be able to watch the film on their computer without any trouble. "Ripping" the video from the DVD to the hard drive, converting it from PAL to NTSC, and creating a new DVD-player-friendly DVD from the result is not difficult to do, and can be done with various programme suites or freeware. I could post or email details to anyone interested. (As well as how to add my own Deutsch & English subtitles, as soon as I get them finished.) |
