| Well I did mention pro judges. Whether or not homebrew judging is 100% in line with pro judging isn't really the point though. It is possible --and reasonable-- to establish a criteria by which one can determine if a given beer is better than another, regardless of whether they're the same kind or not. And in turn, the best of a group. And in turn, the best in a nation. (Or at the VERY least, the best along a street in a town within the state or province of a nation.) Roppelt's Kellerbier is a better Kellerbier than Tucher Pils is a Pils, for example. This is simple fact. |
