| Yes, you got it! The cross marks the ruins on top of the steep trail. the gentle trail down to the river is there to the East (marked perhaps as a gravel road.) Also you can see the footbridge near the 'W' in Waldnaabsterg and the irrigation ditch that the social trail follows. To the east you can see the three ponds you pass when you climb out of the valley. At that point you pick up a one lane road (to me more trail or tractor path) that goes to Neuhaus. It does not look like much on the map but I thought it was pretty cool. If nothing else I suggest a wander to the ruins and perhaps follow the road towards the tennis club for the view and the hope of a train going by. -Joel. |
