Bike Ride Across Unterfranken (August) |

| This was buried in another topic a while back, but I thought I'd give it a post of its own. In August, a group of us (me, my Dad, one of my brothers and a couple others) are going to do a leisurely ride from Bamberg to Aschaffenburg (maybe to Frankfurt if it goes well). We'll do 40-50 miles a day, stopping whenever there is something interesting to drink. Not the highest concentration of breweries, but I'm sure we'll find something :) Dates are leave Bamberg Saturday August 21 and return (by train) to Bamberg on August 26. We'll hang out in Bamberg a few days before (Sandkerwa!) and after. Anybody is welcome to join us, for a "stage" or for the whole thing. Pace will be slow, as my Dad will be nearly 79 and doesn't go as fast as he used to. |
