| Once, back in the early 1990's, I had an experience where I was trying to fly out of Boston for Christmas and kept getting canceled due to snow. I would go down to Logan airport, sit there all day, and then go home. This went on for 3 days. But for some reason they gave me miles on each of the canceled flights even though I never boarded them. It was the one redeeming aspect of that nightmare. I have never been that lucky again with free miles. |
