| The Bayern-Ticket's good for a whole day's travel (from 09:00 to 03:00 the following morning) anywhere in Bavaria. (On weekends & holidays, it's good from 06:00, IIRC.) It's valid for all local transit systems and the "regional" DB trains, which means the RB, RE, and IRE ones, but not the IC and ICE. Just thought we'd better play it safe and have ONE MORE explanation ;) I see it's 120 km from Bamberg to W'bach by car, 60 or 70 of which are on the high-speed Autobahn. I could theoretically drive someone there in about 70 or 80 minutes. Round trip (sorry, "return") could cost 20+ litres of petrol though, plus, I'd have to drink water, cola, or something. |
