| 2008 the "Bamberger Biertage" was an event, organised of the city marketing. The breweries have to pay, but the beers were tapped by the staff of a catering enterprise. This catering firm had engaged many young waiters and waitresses, born in India. And the dishes have been a mix from asian and franconian meals. The indian waiters have been very friendly , but some guests have been surprised. All Bamberg breweries had be present, but I think the were disappointed by the kind of presentation. I was disappointed too: - There were no special beers (only the Ambrösianum has a Festbier). Why I should visit an event with all the beers which I can drink day-to-day at the brewery pubs? - I think, members of the staff of the breweries should be at the face. I hope, but I don't know, if they have a new concept for the Biertage 2010. |
