Ideas for a trip to Bamberg & Franconia

Hi, thanks for the tip about Bad Staffelstein. We stayed at Faessla last time, it is certainly good VFM, the problem is you can't always get an English speaker on the phone. Neither they nor the tourist office answered their email, in the end I got a friend's colleague who is a German teacher to make the booking. Also I expect they will be busier in April and harder to get a room, last time we went in February, Bamberg is especially pretty in the snow! Anyway, Ibis is 44 euros a room, unless I am doing something wrong.
