Gerhard, thanks so much for the rundown. It's exactly what I needed. I am embarrassed to admit that I've not yet been to the Cafe Abseits, but definitely we'll be there a lot during the two weeks in town. We also would like to watch the Brose baskets play, and I see that there's a game during our stay. Is it possible to buy tickets at the door, or do you recommend advance purchase? I'm hoping to assemble some material for an article or two, as I do some free-lance beer writing and blogging in addition to owning the New Albanian Brewing Company in Indiana. Perhaps we can chat while we're in Bamberg.
