Christmas in Bamberg

no worries, some places are open even on christmas day. i've been there at christmas, 2 years in a row. last year was colder than the previous and i came home with a cold :( i've just checked some pics taken on christmas day and yes there are food and beer. be aware that not all breweries are open but some restaurants do, [not sure about the 'fancy' ones, but the good non pretentious ones]. some of the Bamberg pics here http://bonvivantnl.fotopic.net/ gute reise!
