Yeah, and I forgot some other important favourites of mine: Witzgall Vollbier of course and Wolf Dunkles of Rüdenhausen. Both are completely smashing. I certainly like Roppelt beer very much - but I also have the feeling that some people don't look further than, say, 30 kms around Bamberg. As franconia is much much bigger, I think it might be a little short sighted. Maybe you're missing something. :-) Jürgen
