| What's the situation with the Gasthof Lammbrau in Strullendorf? http://www.flickr.com/photos/42725710@N05/3959702290/ They appear to be a Faessla pub, yet they serve Lammbrau Lagerbier, which I don't think is the same as the Faessla lagerbier served in Bamberg. In Bamberg, they don't serve it up in a krug, anyway. http://www.flickr.com/photos/42725710@N05/3959700306/ And at the back of the pub, there is a warehouse, where Lammbrau-branded trucks were being filled up with Lammbrau bottles. Are Faessla contract brewing the Lammbrau bier? Or is it standard Faessla lagerbier? Either way, it was a very good pint, enjoyed in the shady beer garden at the side of the pub. Mike |
