Vollbiers

Yeah, but the Witzgall beers are made of a hoppy "ordinary" Vollbier Hell style. I thought mike004s question was about those certain "Fränkische Schweiz" style lagers: Reddish/coppery colour and malty but not sweet. Of course the Witzgall beers are superb (btw, I prefer their Vollbier Hell), but they are definetely not of that style. Cheers Jürgen
