| Why bother coming over here then? ;) Serious question though--what's special about these kegs? I've never tapped a keg at home; I did all my homebrewing in bottles, so I'm really quite ignorant of the nuts and bolts involved. What I understand about Bayerischen Anstich is that the beer isn't necessarily lagered any differently than beer served from CO2 push kegs, but the kegs have a vent at the top and the tap at the bottom. Had some excellent Lieberth Lager yesterday up on the Kreuzberg by Bayerischem Anstich, FWIW, in case anyone's wondering. All the other beers at the other Keller(s) were gas-driven. |
