| I think I'd choose Regensburg between those three. It it a nice old town, and not too far from Mallersdorf (Schwester Doris) and Laaber (Michael Planck brewery - very good Weizen & Weizenbock) - although I seem to recall that you have been in Laaber already. OTOH - may I recommend the Amberg/Sulzbach-Rosenberg area? Nice cultural area, + Sperberbräu + various Zoigl beers in the area... And when in Bamberg - may I recommend a trip out to the Fränkisches Freilandmuseum in Bad Windsheim (http://www.freilandmuseum.de/)? It is a nice trip out of Bamberg (just about over an hour by car), and it gives a very good idea about the Franconian history and culture, including some beer related items (including a complete working brewery, the former Kommunbrauerei from Schlüsselfeld - with Schlüsselfeld Sternbräu/Scheubel also worth a visit, as you may pass it on the way to/from Bad Windsheim).
