OT: Frankfurt hotels at trade show time

For my next visit to Franconia, I am flying home on an early flight from Frankfurt. But my dates clash with the Frankfurt Motor Show. Consequently, all Frankfurt hotel prices are seriously inflated. Any recommendations for satellite towns to stay in? Darmstadt and Wiesbaden look OK, but hotels are pricey there as well. But I see that Darmstadt has three breweries... Mike
