| I can't agree with Chris's sentiments more. You could buy one here; a less expensive Helm (~30 €?) provides as much protection as a more expensive one does. Then, if you decide not to pack it with you back home, you could conceivably leave it at the hotel for your next visit. I don't think it'd take up THAT much space --you could fit clothes in it-- and they're pretty light. As a side note, meine Frau und ich rarely wear our helmets whilst biking around town here in Erlangen. Stupidity and sloth are to blame. But we also bike pretty slowly and carefully here. We're not in too much of a hurry to get around *IN* Erlangen, but when we're on our way *OUT* of Erlangen, it's a different story. Speaking of getting out of Erlangen, we're off tomorrow for a few days in Genova/Genoa/Genoa, as a base for exploring the coast. I doubt I'll find much fresh Kellerbier... |
