| Ebermannstadt is easily accessible by train from Forchheim. Bus 389 "The Wiesenttal Express" runs from Ebermannstadt to Pegnitz, stopping at Pottenheim. You can download a timetable from vgn.de. The timetable includes a map of the route and shows useful bus routes for South of Pottenstein. North of Pottenstein, I haven't found anything yet. The Pottenstein official web site lists some routes: http://stadt.pottenstein.de/bierrouten.php I could manage the 2 km route, but the others are a bit long for me. I'm going in September and would like to visit some of these village breweries, but they are spread out in the countryside. Mike |
