What--there exists such a thing as "great" British beer?!? Seriously now, I met up with AndyH yesterday in Baunach. His parents were along, taking a nice little holiday. They also said Norfolk is a lovely area for beer, if perhaps a bit more rural than some other regions. Sippel does appear to still brew themselves. This is what the woman serving us said, at least, and seemed nearly defensive when I explained that there had been rumours to the contrary. The beer is perhaps a bit sweet and bland, but good enough for 3 Seidla in a row. In nice company anyway.
