Indeed it does look like there are no trains connecting BA and FO during the construction. Go to diebahn.de and plan a trip for 2.8.09 (US: 8/2/09) from BA to FO. The bus will take 40 minutes. Luckily I will have train service from Erlangen. Consolation for living in such a crappy beer town, I guess. I've also found an even quicker bike route from ER to FO than the one I'd previously been using. Now I can make it from home to the Rappen Keller in just under an hour with my "mountain" bike and its slow little 26 Zoll wheels.
