I agree. But it probably doesn't stop the closure process of ancient family run breweries, as long as there's no heir or successor keeping the business going. My idea would be the foundation of a kind of 'brewery rescue society', but it would be in need of grants and very wealthy members or a big number of such freaks... :-) Think of the idea - if there was a society which could afford to pay the income of a number of brewers... in the end the breweries would hopefully work profit yielding or at least would be able to raise the costs of production and reconditioning. I'm just dreaming... Jürgen
