| Stilbruch and Pizzini seem unchanged (except you can't see the air like you could at Pizzini in the old days :) ) The former Brauerei Einhorn (which was the Nelson Lounge and lots of other names) has a big sign saying "We are renovating Brauerei Einhorn" and some serious interior work is being done. It probably will end up being another "trendy" place like the Soda Bar and the others on Sandstrasse, but I'm always hopeful. Not a whole lot else has changed -- hey this is Bamberg :) There is a new hotel, Hotel Europa, on Königstrasse, right at the Ketternbrücke (not sure if its Obere or Untere right there). Looks fancy. And the new Best Western is proceeding well at Luitpoldstr. and Obere K-str. Fässla Keller is nice, but a bit out of the way. I saw a cafe with a Brauerei zur Sonne sign on Austrasse (parallel to the Grüner Markt) but I didn't go in to see if it was draft or not. |
