| Hi! Please delete my previsional message. The Bayernticket is valid in nearly all busses. It´s valid in all busses in "Verkehrsverbünden" (VGN, MVV...) It´s also valid in all busses who belongs to "Deutsche Bahn" (OVF, RBO, RVO, RVA...) Often on the "OVF" (Omnibusverkehr Franken) routes there are driving private bus companies who are ordered by OVF. Of course the Bayernticket can be used there, too. The linie Bamberg-Gunzendorf-Tiefenstürmig is an OVF line, the busses which drive there, are busses from the "Metzner company". You can use the Bayernticket here. But there are some bus routes which don´t belong to Deutsche Bahn - the private lines: Bamberg-Tiefenellern (Metzner), Bamberg-Priesendorf (Metzner), Bamberg-Kemmern (Hasler), Bamberg-Geisfeld (Metzner), Bamberg-Viereth (Metzner), Bamberg-Breitbrunn (Kuchenmeister). Mostly of those lines belong to the "Metzner bus company". In these cases Metzner is the owner of the lines, and he don´t drives in order of OVF. So it seems like a curiosity that you can use the Bayernticket on Metzner busses in the case that Metzner drives in order of OVF, but you cannot use the Bayernticket when Metzner drives on his own lines... Bamberg-Gunzendorf is possible, because it´s an OVF line (despite Metzner bus!!)! Bamberg-Tiefenellern isn´t possible, because it´s Metzner´s own line!
