Edelstoff

But...why? I really want to know why this beer's so loved and respected. An "export" lager ought to (sollte==should==ought to) be somewhat stronger than a brewery's regular lager, and so the Edelstoff is stronger than Augustiner's Hell is. But it's so utterly bland and devoid of malt, hop, or other flavor & aroma components, especially considering how relatively strong it is. Honestly, the last time I was at the Keller, nearly a year ago, I couldn't finish the Mass I'd gotten, and at 6.50 €, that was a bit dear. Lovely place though. For
