"their Pils says "hard water" to me. It's somewhat minerally, and I wonder if this is because of the hard water in the region" yes, I had noticed a similarity ("speaking about waters") between Ausfesser beer (I only drank the Ausfesser Dunkel) and the close Dunkles of Kathi Brau (particular and very good in my opinion) in Heckenhof. As a foreigner it's good to know the cause for this similarity. Thanks. "How are you going to get around If you haven't seen them already, Fred's made some very useful map" Noooooo I have spent the last three evenings doing crosschecks with the franconianbeerguide Browse Breweries and the Steve Thomas' Good Beer Guide Germany and reporting the results on printed googlemaps pages; now the work is done, counting the new recommendations i have about 60 crosses on my maps and I'd like to come back in some already seen breweries...I'll come back in August This year we'll be four people with two cars for the autoban trip and for a major capability (I'm talking about beer boxes for home!).Then when we'll be in Pottenstein we'll move for the next ten days with one car so to alternate at best driving and drinking. Climbing sectors are mostly north and south of Pottenstein, right to Erlangen and left to Sulzbach-Rosenberg but we'll be searching for breweries from Zettmandorf to Neuhaus(Oberpfalz)! Many thanks for the informations; if there is something more let me know... |
