| I've stayed at the Hotel Zur Gred in Freising, with no complaints. When we arrived quite late, the owner was kind enough to serve us a beer, even though his restaurant/bar was closed...he features (or at least featured) Hofbrauhaus Freising beers. I have also stayed at Hotel Frey (twice during Oktoberfest season) in Ismaning due to it's location near the S-bahn stop.
