So I'm looking for some help deciding which towns to make stops in on our first day in Germany. The overall goal is to have lunch at Kloster Kreuzberg and then spend the night in Wurzburg. Because motoring to just those two places is too much non-stop driving I've listed below some towns that I found on the internet that appear to be pretty and/or historic places where we can stop and stretch our legs along the way. If anyone has been to any of these places and could offer their impressions or, provide alternatives if they feel these places may not be as lovely as their websites led me to believe, that would be very helpful.
