Wheat Beers - Why Bother?

Most judges comply to take the style descriptions, and take those into account during the judging. However - style descriptions are sometimes inconsistent, (compare BJCP and WBC and EBS style descriptions for instance). BJCP: Beer Judges Certificate Program; WBC: World Beer Cup, organised by Brewers Association; EBS: European Beer Star, organised by the independent breweries association in Germany in cooperation with SIB, Small Independent Breweries in Europe. I don't want to know (nor do I care) about Ratebeer or similar organisations.
