| Nick: Eggolsheim - Schwarzes Kreuz Gunzendorf - Sauer Zeil am Main - Goeller Breitenguessbach - Hummer Baunach - Sippel are all new ones for me. Jim: I need to be organised as I'm bringing people with me again. Schedules, however, are always flexible within the limits of the Franconian public transport system! The Buttenheim/Gunzendorf is a replan of an earlier visit when I didn't get any further than Loewenbraeu. Mark: I'll probably do a long weekend before June, it's hard to stay away from Bamberg and far too easy to get to. John: Yes, I've been to most of those pubs and I spent 2 weeks in Franconia in July 2007. For this trip I am hoping to show as many of the best beers from close to Bamberg as I can to my group. I'm still working on the details and will have a very detailed itinerary soon with avery location, bus and train time, platform, bus stop location, walking directions, etc. This itinerary will also contain bad weather back up plans, alternatives and reroutes if we decide to stay longer than scheduled somewhere. Of course it's easy to be overambitious in Franconia! |
