we had Wirsing twice in the last couple of days and it was delicious. First in the Roter Ochs in Forchheim-Burk and then in the Erdinger Weißbräu in Erding. The first time it was completely pureed and unrecognizable, but had a wonderful nutty taste. The second it was just chopped finely and sweated with onions, butter and cream. Yum.
