| Has been like this for a few years already, there is a direct RE (fast train) Würzburg - Bamberg - Hof/Bayreuth every two hours, and a direct stopping train every two hours, plus one connection with fast trains with change in Schweinfurt every two hours. However, from december 14th (start of the 2009 timetable) there will be one fast train every hour, plus a stopping train more or less every two, (more often during rush hours on weekdays). The fast connection takes around one hour, the stopping train around one and a quarter. Btw, the connection with change at Schweinfurt only cuts off minutes of your beer drinking time if you have had to much beer = if you don't make the change fast enough! |
