Regensburg AND Amberg AND Zoigl

Are all worth wile. - Regensburg old town is Unesco Weltkulturerbe, like Bamberg. Some interesting breweries (Kneitinger & Spital for instance). You can easily spend a day here. - Amberg has four breweries, a fifth that is more like a hobbybrewery, and a sixth out in Raigering. Nice old town also good for a whole day. - Zoigl: easiest to visit are Windischeschenbach and W-Neuhaus. Use the calendar at www.zoiglbier.de; if you pick the right day, you can visit 7 Zoigl-outlets in W. and W-N. That's on monday! Train connections: To Regensburg when using a Bayern-ticket travel from Nürnberg either via Amberg or via Neumarkt. To Windischeschenbach via Weiden.
