| Andy G, who brewed at Mahrs and now brews at Beck, is very good friends with Lorenzo Dabove (a/k/a Kuaska) which is probably the origin of the Italian connection. Andy also was instrumental in getting the beers up to Sweden for the various Franconian Beer Festivals they've had up that way. I haven't been out that way for about 18 months. When I was there (not long after Andy started brewing) they had the Zwickel and Pils. IIRC they are generally only open Fri, Sat & Sun but that may have changed. |
