Jos and Don- Herr Straub is a good friend and I enjoy staying at the Drei Kronen in Memmelsdorf. Pricey yes but it's become tradition in my trips to Germany now. I'm staying at Sonne in Bischberg, Huppendorfer in Grasmanndorf, and Fassla as well. With great relief seeing the dollar gain about .10 cents against the Euro was nice. I doubt we'll see much more this year. I just can't afford to 'travel in the manner to which I am accustomed'. I did my train trips all over Belgium years ago and have had enough of that sort of travel. Rental car and GPS suit my travels to Germany much better. Thanks for the rec's greatly appreciated!!!
