Kreuzberg - bike hire

[cross-posted from the BBB] Forgot to point out that Chris K. and his lovely Frau rented a couple of fine mountain bikes for 15 € / bike / day at a shop which they say is about a block from Spezial (I guess this place: http://rad-im-hof.bnv-bamberg.de/ ). They were able to bike up the STEEP route from Hirschaid on Wednesday, which is particularly impressive for people not used to hilly biking. (Though they are pretty fit.)
