Jim is now our taxi expert. I called the Hirschaid-based taxi for him when he was last here: 09543 417 992 The price from Hirschaid to Stiebarlimbach has varied from 18 - 25 € (the latter being when the two of us were together--with my bike--so he added a few € extra). It's perfectly acceptable to ask the pub to call a taxi for you IMO. I think the Hirschaid guy can speak English, since he said he's picked up Yanks before. The bus won't work for you?
