10 year anniversary trip |

| This august will be my 10th year of visiting bamberg and i thought id share my itinerary with the board,any comments or advice would be welcolmed and appreciated. This is a great site and has helped me over the last couple of years with many a query, where else could i find out if there a lockers at forchheim station!!!! 18/8 lunch at Brauerei goller in Zeil am Main and then an evening in keesman and mahrs 19/8 rent some bikes and cycle to the kruezberg kellers get there for midafternoon.get the train back and finish of in cafe abseits(just around the corner from our appartment) 20/08 cycle to grasmannsdorf for lunch at the Brauerei kaiser then onto burgebrach for a couple of pints in the swankeller.back to bamberg via mulendorf to visit the mulenbrau keller,spend the evening at the spezial keller 21/8 cycle to baunach for a few in the Brauerei sipple and then onto Brauerei hummel in breitengussbach and the over to kemmern for the wagner keller.back to bamberg for the start of sandkerwa 22/08 cycle to rossdorf am forst for the lovely sauer felsenkeller then onto melkendorf for Brauerei winkler then back to bamberg via geisfeld for the equally lovely greiss keller. 23/8 ride south to herrnsdorf for lunch at Brauerei barnikel then onto untergreuth to try the beer at Brauerei buttner and then back to ruendorf to the schmausenkeller.again evening in bamberg 24/8 no cycling today ,give the pins a rest so train to Eggolsheim the walk to schlammersdorf for a good old fashion sunday session at the witzgall keller. 25/8 cycle to weiher for a few jars at the Brauerei kundmuller then back to bamberg via Bischberg and the Schuhmann's Keller 26/8 sadly our last day so lunch at the boothaus befoer flight home from nuremberg. thanks again to everyone for the advice over the years. |
