Last trip to Oberfranken

I actually have this book (along with their books for the Steigerwald and Frankenalb) dating back from when I lived in Munich in the 80's, but many of the breweries have since gone out of business. Oddly, they don't cover the Kreuzberg. The Aufsess hike is from their book - 20 years later, all the breweries still exist. The other hikes are from books that I have more recently bought in Bamberg. I visited most of the breweries just to the east of the autobahn going south from Bamberg back in the 80's, but not recently. This time I may end up sleeping in Merkendorf.
