| Ah yes, Nick, I do agree, one night is not enough. Alas I am traveling with wife and children. And this is "supposed" to be a family vacation. I'm happy I could extract two days of solid beer drinking from the itinerary (as opposed to constant beer drinking the rest of the time) to stop in Bamberg (going from Göttingen to Landshut). My concern was not about Weissbierhaus, that is indeed at the bottom of my list, only because it was another outlet of Maisel. I'm staying at the Wilde Rose hotel in town and want to be sure to visit a keller or two and Wilde Rose and Spezial are in the plans. I was unaware the brewery is still operating. Thanks for the answer. The next trip will be a dedicated Bier Tage or Annafest event. |
