| Schlossbrauerei Christian Stelzer http://www.schlossbrauerei-stelzer.de/ Fattigau is a little village near the city Hof, 100 km away from Bamberg. It is the first Bioland brewery. Bioland is an organization with stronger "Bio" guidelines than the law. The dark "Ritter Trunk" itself isn't a "Bio" beer, but the most popular beer and perhaps the best beer of this brewery. They have many different beers, only one of them is a "Bioland" beer. This brand is necessary for the distribution channel natural food shops. Also good: the pilsner "Doppelhopfen" ("doubled hop"), not served at Café Abseits. Christian is the name of the founder. The actual senior chief is named Theodor Stelzer. But the storage tanks are in Ampferbach. No bottling on bottles, only on taps. Available only at the Max Bierkeller near Ampferbach and the Max pub in Ampferbach.
