Yes, the Witzgall keller was closed, but I got to see it, and walk around in it, unfettered. Then I walked the next 0.5 mile to the fest. It was a good time, and the main thing was that I got to drink many a Mass of Witzgall Landbier. Damn, that bier is good! Good times. Met Nick again today in Pretzfeld and went to Meister Braeu in Unterzaunsbach. Excellent beer! Then I went to Ebermannstadt alone. Very beautiful town. Kellerbier at Sonne was good, but beers at Schwann were not so good. Still, a fun day, with excellent weather. Back to America on Wed.
