Gordon is exactly right. The breweries list on "Beer Me" under Bad Staffenstein are listed here as: Vierzehnheiligen Nedensdorf Frauendorf Wiesen Stublang Uetzing Loffeld The all have the same "Zip Code" (PLZ in German) and may be administratively part of the municipality of Bad Staffenstein, but you can wander around town all day and not find an open brewery :) I don't know if this is the case with Beer Me, but many sites in their zeal to have as many listings as possible don't distinguish between contract or "fake" breweries and "real" breweries -- I try had here to list only operating breweries. Sometimes that has a "theological" aspect -- if only one of out five beers on the menu is actually brewed there, is it a "real" brewery? A piece of trivia -- one of the last breweries brewing in Bad Staffelstein is still alive -- sort of. The brew house was bought by Anderson Valley Brewing in Booneville, California and has been happily making great beer for the past 5 years or so.
