Bergkirchweih in Erlangen

Don't do it, Chris! The Berg is Evil. It may LOOK like the Annafest, but it's really not. There is just the one main street along the base of the hill with the Keller(s) heading uphill from there. And way, way, WAY too many people in comparison to the Annafest. And the beer is horrid--this year's Steinbacher Bergkirchweihbier excepted, as it's at least drinkable. But the prices...and the noise...and the vomiting...nein, danke. Yes, unfortunately I have not managed to avoid every Bergkirchweih since I've lived here. I'll actually go one lunchtime this week with my schoolmates, but otherwise...gah!
