new bars

On a visit last week, we visited a couple of new places in town. The Cafe Muller, just off the Grunermarkt has Huppendorfer Vollbier and is a pleasant modern Euro style cafe. There are a couple of other cafes in this street which may have interesting beers, we didnt have time to check then out. Also the Luitpold in the Bamberger Hof hotel is an excellent bar, with Fassla pils and guest beers. They had a dampfbier when we were there, also Kolsch. Has anyone been to Catweazles castle, just down from the Weissbeirhaus, or the Griegarten near the Pelikan, which advertises Krug Beer from Geisfeld, very well regarded on these pages? Once again time/ruhetags prevented us going there.
