| I was just wondering this morning about Maiböcke, since it is the 1st of May today. See you at Abseits tonight then, perhaps! I love the Mönschsambacher Winterbock, and have never had the Maibock. Is the Schlenkerla Fastenbier still available? It was sold out at Schlenkerla on the Saturday before Easter. Jim: Huppendorfer's Josephi Bock is a Starkbierzeit Bock, brewed to the Lent season; that's why it might be sold out. We shall have to meet up--it's about time, eh? Rittmayer in Hallerndorf, to which you should consider venturing regardless, to experience the 3 Keller(s) up on the hill in the countryside. |
